Steps and Processes
Research various looks of luxury apartments and rooms with rgb lights
Create a floor plan with peers which would consolidate all our ideas
Think of surface materials and what our apartment would have as interior
Brainstorming
Begin by creating the overall first floor starting with the kitchen
Extend the floor to include living room area which would have center couch and TV on the wall
Create the stairs which lead to the 2nd floor(bedroom)
Trim and section space under stairs to include shelving
Connect the walls around the room
Section off pieces of the wall for tall windows

Because this project was a collaborative project with other students on deck, the steps listed above are only Devin’s contribution to the project.
The supporting pictures which show the rhino floor plan file will display the apartment at 85% to 90% completion
The interior furnishes such as the tables, couch, TV, etc were made by his group mates

Final Product
The Virtual Apartment was a fun project for Devin to do with his fellow peers. Not only was he able to create a room which he loves visually, but he was able to do it with students which shared his vision. His group worked like a well oiled machine and was able to create a room which the class and professor loved. Devin would love to work on something like this again and now considers architecture or interior design as a possible career choice and at the very least a hobby. It’s also worth mentioning the rendered images shown on the left page(page 12) were rendered in Blender.
